Cast Spells more Often with Monk Beacon of Ytar!

Monk Beacon of YtarMonk Beacon of Ytar is a passive skill that unlocks at level 35.

Beacon of Ytar reduces the cooldown of all the Monk’s skills by 15%.

This is very useful for damage and supportive type Monks because it makes the bigger spells that have longer cooldowns a bit more spammable.

They will be able to use their skills more often, so the wise Monk should make sure that they actually have enough Spirit in order to power them. They should include Spirit generating skills in their build if they plan to use Beacon of Ytar.

Complementary Skills:

These can help the Diablo 3 Monk keep a comfortable amount of Spirit for them to be able to cast their skills often.

Chant of Resonance - This passive skill increases the duration of the Monk’s Mantras by 7 minutes and gives them two spirit per second while one of their Mantras is active.

This is especially good for support monks who need to keep their Mantras up in order to aid their allies. Non-supportive monks can benefit from this skill as well because they might want to utilize their Mantra skill slot anyway, and the Spirit generation provided by Chant of Resonance will help keep their Spirit bars topped up.

The Guardian’s Path - This passive skill increases the monk’s Spirit generation by 25% when using a two-handed weapon. This is good for monks who prefer slower weapons that deal bigger damage or for support monks who do not need to worry about their weapon choice as much.

Exalted Soul - This passive skill increases the monk’s maximum Spirit by 100. Plenty of Spirit generation is good, but it is useful for a monk to have a space to store all that Spirit. This is a good passive to pair with Spirit generating skills to ensure that they have enough Spirit to spam their skills with.
