Heal your Party and then Together Do More Damage! Monk Guiding Light
Monk Guiding Light is a passive skill that unlocks at level 40.
Whenever the Monk directly heals another player character, Guiding Light enables both of them to deal an additional 16% damage for 15 seconds. This passive is a good choice for support monks whose party needs to deal more damage.
This passive is also only effective if the monk is in a party because the bonus will not take effect when healing summoned creatures or non-player followers.

Complementary Skills:
Breath of Heaven - This Defensive skill heals the Monk. This is the Monk’s only skill whose primary function is to directly heal their party mates. Though there is another skill that when runed can also directly heal the Monk’s party, Breath of Heaven is still easier to use for Guiding Light’s bonus to take effect.
Beacon of Ytar - This passive skill reduces all of the Monk’s cooldowns by 15%. Because Breath of Heaven has a cooldown of 15 seconds, Beacon of Ytar will allow Breath of Heaven to become slightly more spammable. This is agood choice if the Diablo 3 Monk wants to be able to use Breath of Heaven more often, and thus triggering the effects of Guiding Light more often as well.
Cyclone Strike – Soothing Breeze - This Focus skill pulls all enemies within 24 yards of the monk toward them, then deals 100% of their weapon damage to these enemies. The Soothing Breeze rune also causes Cyclone Strike to heal 1240 Life to all allies within 24 yards of the monk.
A good direct healing skill for the monk to use in a pinch and if Breath of Heaven is still on cooldown. Cyclone Strike has no cooldown so it can also be spammed to heal allies and trigger the effects of Guiding Light.
However, this skill can be dangerous for a support Monk because it will cause enemies to be pulled close to them.
