Monk The Guardian’s Path lets you Dodge More with Duels!

Monk The Guardian’s Path is a passive skill that unlocks at level 24.

The Guardian’s Path gives the Monk a 15% chance to dodge attacks when dual-wielding a weapon, or increases the Monk’s Spirit generation by 25% when using a two-handed weapon. This is a versatile passive that can be used by different types of Monks.

One-hand weapons are preferred by speed-type Monks because they tend to be faster and easier to wield. The dodge chance given by The Guardian’s Path when wielding one of these weapons in each hand can be useful.

Speed is one of the Monk’s defining characteristics, this passive can be an attractive option to monks who would like to enhance this advantage in player versus player combat.

Two-handed weapons are for the monk who prefers to be slower but deal more damage. They also tend to generate Spirit slower than their peers and could benefit from the Spirit generation boost given by The Guardian’s Path.

The Support-type Diablo 3 Monk more focused on aiding their allies may also want to use this passive for the extra Spirit generation. These monks should never run out of Spirit because their skills are critical to the success of the party.

Mantra of Evasion - This Mantra will give the Monk another 15% chance to dodge attacks for three minutes, as well as another 15% chance for three seconds after activating the Mantra. Coupled with The Guardian’s Path this will make agility-based Monks much harder to hit.

Chant of Resonance - For supportive Monks this passive skill is a good pair with The Guardian’s Path. Chant of Resonance increases the duration of the monk’s Mantras by seven minutes, as well as giving the monk two Spirit for every second that one of their Mantras is active. This passive is also great because supportive monks tend to use Mantras all the time in order to boost their allies.
