Barbarian Bash Fuels your Fury while Smashing your Enemies to the Ground!
Barbarian Bash is perhaps the most definitive skill for the Barbarian class.
This skill comes into mind just as you scroll over the Barbarian once you plan to use him/her.
The Barbarian is known for its brute strength, and it is only natural for it to have this kind of skill.
The Barbarian Bash is your primary skill, unlocked at the level 1. Likewise, this is the first active skill that you will be granted upon playing the game. Blizzard has described Bash to brutally smash an enemy for 150% weapon damage.
Bash will also grant you a 20% increase in knocking the enemy back, a precious bonus when you have little health and a need to retreat.
This is best used for dealing with bosses that have a huge amount of hit points or for enemies that deals a huge amount of damage per blow and needs to be annihilated as soon as possible.

It works much as it did in D2, but the animation is so cool that it’s a blast to use. When using Bash, the Barbarian positively winds up, twisting his upper body and leaning completely over, away from the monster, before uncoiling and extended into the strike like he’s driving a railroad spike. It’s quite an, “OMG he knocked the sauce out of that dude!” visual, and better yet, sometimes when you kill a monster with this, you literally knock their skeleton out of their flesh, sending the fully-articulated, blood-stained bones sliding across the screen, shuffleboard style, a drenching trail of blood in their wake. The Diablo 3 Barbarian Bash is a Fury Generator and will generate 6 Fury per attack. There is no cooldown for this skill as Bash is a one time big time kind of skill when used.
Barbarian Bash can be affected by the skill runes Pulverize, Onslaught, Instigation, Punish and Clobber.
At level 6, with the skill rune Clobber, instead of getting the Knockback chance, each hit while using Bash to the enemy gives you a 20% chance to Stun the target for 3 seconds.
At level 13, with the skill rune Onslaught, your character will be given two additional reverberations that will cause 22% weapon damage per strike. The downside to this however, is that this rune will remove the bonus chance for knockback.
At level 26, with the skill rune Punish, there will be an increases in the damage of your skills by 6% with a cooldown of five seconds after using Bash. This effect can stack for up to three times.
At level 44, with the skill rune Instigation, you will be able to generate six additional Fury per attack.
At level 52, with the skill rune Pulverize, Bash will cause a shock wave that will inflict 38% weapon damage to all enemies in a twenty-six yard line behind the targeted enemy.
