Barbarian Superstition Reduces Elemental Damage!
Barbarian Superstition skill is one of the most rewarding out of the entire passive three. As expected, there are no runestones or synergies associated with this skill but it does affect all Fury consuming abilities.
The skill has been available for characters of level 20 for some time. However, in the latest beta patch, level requirements have increased. At this moment, only characters of level 30 can unlock this skill.
Judging by how things have evolved with for Superstition it is highly unlikely that the requirements and bonuses of will change in the near future.
Looking closely at the skill, its bonus seems like a must have for every tanking Barbarian.
Its main trait is the 20% non-Physical damage reduction. But there is more to it that. A ranged normal attack performed with a crossbow is considered Physical damage.
The Diablo 3 Barbarian Superstition skill will not absorb 20% damage from such attacks. However, when dealing with enemies that cause elemental damage, the skill proves its value.

The secondary bonus of this skill is the Fury bonus. Simply put every time the Barbarian receives a ranged hit that causes elemental damage he will gain 3 points of Fury.
This might not seem like much but when dealing with large numbers of elemental mobs, Fury can be easily maintained at maximum. Used in tank builds is probably the best utilization of this skill as it can help soak up more elemental damage.
There is some talk around this skill about its usefulness in PVP. It can help as a Fury generating skill against Wizards or Witch Doctors. Also, combining it with Unforgiving is speculated to be a good association but there are better options out there for a more efficient PVP build. Currently the skill should only be used for a tanking or solo build. All other builds should go for a different passive skill.
