Barbarian War Cry is an Active Skill which is a Nice Boost for the Whole Party.
War cry is an active Barbarian skill unlocked at level 28 that is used to increase the Barbarian and his nearby allies’ armor by 20%.
It generates 30 fury on use and has a 30 second cooldown.
Fortunately, the buff lasts for 60 seconds, so it is possible to keep the buff on full time.

While most of the Diablo 3 Barbarian skills are focused on dealing as much damage as possible and keeping just the barbarian alive, War Cry provides some variety by being a nice boost for the whole party.
In Diablo 2, it was expected any Barbarian in the party buff his allies with Battle Orders and similar shouts. It is expected that War Cry will serve a similar purpose in Diablo 3 and become a staple skill in most Barbarian builds.
The various skill rune modifications to the skill will also prove to be useful through the game.
At level 32, using the Hardened Wrath skill rune, the armour bonus is doubled to 40% making the skill much more useful.
At level 41, we get Invigorate which gives an increase in life and life regeneration. Both of these skills could be crucial to keeping the party alive, especially in hard core mode.
Impunity, unlocked at level 60, will also prove to be very useful before players acquire elite gear, as it gives a 50% increase to all resistances, something much needed in higher difficulties like Hell.
Overall, the Barbarian War Cry is a very useful party buff skill that will find its place into most Barbarian builds in Diablo 3, much like the war cries used by the Diablo 2 Barbarian.
