Demon Hunter Vault Makes Evading Effortless!

The Demon Hunter Vault skill does not initially deal any damage, but it is a necessary skill if you plan on building a PvP character.

This is the Demon Hunter’s movement skill, and it is one of the best in the game.

When paired with runes, you can deal a lot of damage while effortlessly escaping enemies.

The discipline cost is also quite low, so you can easily use this skill a lot during battle. Considering the usefulness of this skill, you should consider unlocking it, regardless of your build.

This skill is found under the “Discipline” skill tree and you need to be level 9 to unlock it.

Discipline and Cooldown
There is no cooldown associated with Vault, and it only requires 10 discipline to use. As long as you are not quickly using up all your discipline during the battle, you should be able to easily cast this skill over and over in a fight.

Some Demon Hunter Vault Tips


Effect
When used, your Demon Hunter will melt into the shadows and he or she will tumble for 35 yards. This, by itself, may not seem very useful. However, it allows you to easily escape from enemies. You can also use this to quickly go through the map, so it increases your overall movement speed when going from one area to another.

This is a great PvP skill because it allows you to easily escape attacks from other players.

When paired with runes, this skill becomes pretty devastating if used in the right hands.

Demon Hunter Vualt Runestones

Runes

-Trail of Cinders: a trail of fire will appear on your traveling path. Enemies that get caught in the fire will receive 100% weapon damage.

-Acrobatics: the discipline cost is entirely removed, but there is a 15 second cooldown. Due to the cooldown, you may want to really consider whether this rune is worth it.

-Action Shot: arrows will shoot out of your body while tumbling, causing 75% weapon damage to nearby enemies.

-Tumble: after using Vault once, the discipline cost is cut in half if you use Vault again within 6 seconds.

-Rattling Roll: enemies that are within an 8-yard radius of the Vault destination are stunned for 1.5 seconds and knocked back.
