Diablo 3 Barbarian

Once a powerful and feared race, the Diablo 3 Barbarians have lost hope running around aimlessly ever since their homeland was shattered.
Since they are born, they are given with one heavy burden: to defend Mount Arreat.
Its demise caused this strong and noble race to vanquish.
Some of them still wonder the world seeking a new purpose, crushing anyone who stands in their way. This time, Diablo threatens to destroy the realm of men, lurking beneath the surface of the earth.
Unknowing, our hero gets drawn to the small town of New Tristram where a comet has fallen.
These events will cause the Barbarian to find a new purpose for their existence, protecting the innocent and banishing the legions of Hell.
In Diablo 3, the Barbarian class returns 20 years after the events of the previous title. Many things have changed. He looks older and wiser.
This truly great warrior, bred for power and strength comes with a truly remarkable physical power taken from Fury. It has a fixed maximum and no regeneration rate causing it to be used by the player with greater care. The only way to gain Fury is trough attacks and abilities. Some of his abilities generate Fury while others consume it totaling eight of each.

At their core, the Barbarian is still a class that relies on brute force to make its way through the legions of enemies he might encounter. His main attribute is strength.
His shout mechanic has been preserved. He is still a master at inspiring fear into his enemies with his battle shouts. The Barbarian can also bring out the battle frenzied spirit in his allies by increasing certain attributes. His shouts are a great tactical advantage in both coop gameplay and PvP.
Due to tremendous strength, Barbarians can wield their weapons in ways that others will never be able to. His weapons of choice are one-handed and two-handed mighty weapons. In difficult combat situations he can put on a shield and sword or duel wield weapons.
To complete his arsenal, the former guardian of Arreat uses special crafted belts. These belts can be used only by Barbarians to increase their strength and ferocity.
At this point he is the most recommended class for tanking purposes.
His massive body, strength and weapon wielding skills enable him to equip a large shield and taunt powerful enemies. With the aid of several passive skills, the Barbarian can improve his survivability and withstand great amounts of damage.
His damage mitigation abilities make his the best punch sack for powerful bosses especially in coop play when a tank might be needed. He can become a genuine damage soaking class.
A few of the new skills of the Barbarian are:
Earthquake - shaking the ground beneath your feet dealing 1600% more damage in fire!
Furious Charge - rushing a forward attack with 195% knock back damage!
Overpower - Deals an upwards to 260% damage to all enemies within a 9 yard radius and auto cool down activates on critical hit!
Ancient Spear - Capable of pulling enemies back to you, slowing them down 60% and dealing 185% extra damage, all at the same time!
Call of the Ancients - Summon the ancient Barbarians Talic, Korlic, and Madawc to fight alongside you

In PvE, the Barbarian can solo the game without much hassle. In his skill arsenal, the Barbarian comes prepared with multiple life leeching abilities to improve his survival skills. In both solo leveling and coop gameplay, he can prove to be a valuable asset that combines successfully strength, anger and honor.
For PvP purposes, the Barbarian can overpower even the most prepared player. Being capable of high damage bursts with his brute force and powerful abilities, the fate of a match can be decided by the sharpness of his axe in a matter of seconds.
The Diablo 3 Barbarian still remains the tall and massive warrior capable of crushing a skull with his hand. All the die-hard fans will enjoy the changes implemented as they bring out a more “wise warrior“ instead of a “brainless brute“. He is the most powerful melee class in the game and a feared PvP adversary. The Diablo 2 nostalgic fans will not be disappointed by the new and improved version of this legendary class.
