Diablo 3 Profiles Are Here… Not Sure Where…

We kind of guessed that the previous weekly maintenance would bring some significant news or change to the game. Our best guess was that the character profiles were going to be implemented and it seems that we were right. Many other news sites guessed it as well but let’s see what exactly at how they look and the functionality of the page.

The first thing that needs to be mentioned is that the Diablo 3 profiles are extremely difficult to find especially if you have multiple Blizzard games activated on the same battle.net account. This was the case for us and the main profile selected was the World of Warcraft one. Not sure if we did something wrong but it took us 10 minutes to find the battle tag and click on it. There were no instructions and the comments of the players were not very specific. In the end we got to see our level 60 Barbarian and his mediocre farming gear. The problem was that in the upper right we had a WoW character selected and there was no other hint that the D3 profile was hidden there as well. It was just a small line indicating the battle tag and the Diablo 3 icon.

At first glance, the character profiles look decent. They are not as good as the ones for WoW but they might get tuned up a bit in the future. Maybe even a 3D character model will be added just like for World of Warcraft. So far, the profiles offer basic information, far insufficient to brag about to friends or colleagues. There is no info about crit hit chance and damage, no life on hit and so on. It is still a great way to compare two characters or just check out the profiles of some famous gamers and see their gear and build.
