Die-Hard Diablo 3 Fans Game on Mountain Top.

Some die-hard Diablo 3 fans will stop at nothing and take their devotion to the game at new levels. This is the case for a couple of students whom posted their amazing experience on the reddit forums. They decided to take on Diablo’s minions on top of a Canadian mountain.
Two friends took on their mother’s advice to go and play outside to a whole new level.
They actually packed their high end laptops and went on a trip to Canada’s Mt. Yamnuska. The conditions are ideal for an online game. Let’s not forget that Diablo requires a permanent internet connection. Additionally, the latency is critical and broadband internet is recommended.
The two friends had to settle for what they have. Equipped with their laptops and a 3G connection, the die-hard fans climbed up 7,349 ft and logged into their Diablo 3 accounts. However, the gaming experience was at the playable limits but still far from decent. Their ping was ranging from 300 to 2000 ms meaning a lot of in-game lag.

As per one of their posts, the game kicked them out more often than their 3G connection dropped. They experienced the server issues caused by the high load of the login gateways that Blizzard still needs to work on.
Their adventure created a real hype on the reddit forums and in only a few hours, hundreds of comments were posted. It seems that it took them quite a few hours to get on top just to play the game for 20 minutes but it seems that the effort was worth the trouble.
It seems that this was more of a personal achievement. They also posted a picture with them on top of the mountain with the laptops one playing the game. It offers a great view of the mountains in the background with the two Canadians.
