Gifts for Diablo 3 and WOW – Mists of Pandaria Players

It appears that the Diablo III players who are also planning to play Mists of Pandaria, the upcoming expansion for World of Warcraft, have something that they can look forward to. Code geeks have been analyzing the latest patch files for Blizzard’s Diablo 3, and after having plunged into the depths of these obscure lines of code, they have discovered hints that are pointing towards hidden perks that will be benefiting Diablo 3 players who will also be playing Mists of Pandaria in the future.
Among those that they have discovered include: a new World of Warcraft Feat of Strength which is called Panda-moniom, that is unlocked by the players who will be registering their copy of the Mists of Pandaria Collector’s Edition; a brand new banner sigil; new Pandaren style illustrations; and a line of code which hints to a Collector’s Edition buff.
This particular line of code is a string that says “SpecialGiftWIngsBuff_name – Collectors Edition Buff”, and it also appears with a black demon wings icon that looks like the one for the Demon Hunter class in Diablo 3.
These perks will apparently be available to the Mists of Pandaria players who have also played or are playing Diablo 3.
According to Blizzard, Patch 1.0.3 should be out sometime during this month, though it is unknown when these actual perks are going to be implemented. It is likely that Blizzard is just planning ahead and is now beginning to set up the codes for these future perks in advance.
World of Warcraft is the massively multi player online role playing game title of Blizzard, and Mists of Pandaria is the game’s latest upcoming expansion. It is the fourth expansion for World of Warcraft and was announced in October 2011; beta testing began in March 2012. Blizzard is yet to announce the official release of the said expansion to the market.
