Israel, BBR Saatchi Agency Looking for programmers. Interview with Diablo 3

An ad agency in Israel, BBR Saatchi, is currently looking to hire a programmer in the most unusual manner. Chief Executive Officer and Level 60 Barbarian Yossi Lubaton has turned to Diablo 3 for potential candidates, where he plans to game with them as well as give them the opportunity to show off their gaming and situational awareness skills, and display their capabilities and how they operate as a team player. He would be evaluating how fast and how well they respond to high risk situations, and will also be asking them professional and personal questions during their game.
Successful candidates will then be invited to come to his office for another interview, and they will also be given the legendary sword Warmonger, one million in gold coins, and, well, maybe manager’s insurance.
For the month of July, interested applicants may log into the game every Wednesday, at 8pm Israeli time, and look for gamer tag #Yossilubaton#2572. This is a good move for the company as far as hiring programmers goes, since most of them will be playing Diablo 3 anyway. It is also a clever marketing campaign on their part, which is an important skill for them to demonstrate since they are an ad agency.
In any case, this is a nice change of pace from the traditional interviews wherein people would just go in and answer a series of canned questions, for which they already have their own canned answers. Watching a candidate in action while playing a game against hordes of monsters is a much better way of evaluating how fast they react to changes in the situation, and how quickly they come up with an out of the box solution to deal with the problem.
He also says hes going to give people a chance to fight him…No arena yet… Lets not get ahead of ourselves now.
