Kripp’s Double Tornado Barbarian Inferno Build 1.0.3

Required level: 60
Kripparrian’s build for his soft-core character hasn’t been presented in any of his videos. He demonstrated how effective the build is in one of his farming videos. With this build and some decent gear, Kripp is earning around 50 million gold per day selling the items he finds. It is a popular build and despite the fact that there is no video uploaded by him to explain the exact mechanics of the build, we will try to break it down to the basics. Kripparrian only explained a variation of the build. Today we will look at his latest Barbarian Double Tornado build used by him in his latest Diablo 3 videos.
Let’s have a quick round up of all the skills he uses:
Left Mouse Button – Bash with the Instigation rune
Right Mouse Button – Whirlwind with the Hurricane rune
…
Action Key 1 – Wrath of the Berserker with the Insanity rune
Action Key 2 – Battle Rage with the Into the Fray rune
Action Key 3 – Sprint with the Run Like the Wind rune
Action Key 4 – Warcry with the Impunity rune
…
Passive Skill 1: Weapons Master
Passive Skill 2: Animosity
Passive Skill 3: Ruthless

The Mechanics:
This particular build has one major problem: Fury control. There are two main damage dealing abilities and both of the use Fury, especially Whirlwind. It can consume a full pool in just a few seconds. It is also difficult to engage in combat without enough Fury saved for Sprint and Whirlwind. The only way to make it a viable build is by using War Cry as a combat starter. It will give a small Fury boost, just enough to use Sprint. The skill should leave behind around 4 tornadoes that will deal decent amounts of damage. In order to gain some Fury out of them, a decent critical chance is needed.
Critical Hit chance needs to be compensated by skills as well. Through gear it’s possible to get around 30% but it is not quite enough. Ruthless will add an additional 5% which should make it a bit more close to the desired amount. On the other hand, Fury regeneration needs to be boosted in all the ways possible. This calls for the Animosity passive skill for an extra 10% Fury generation.
The third passive, Weapons Master, can be used to gain some more critical hit chance. To be noted the fact that only the weapon on the main hand will be counted. The offhand will not grant any bonus. Furthermore it is not possible to gain an augmentation from both of them. In this situation, if the overall critical hit is too low, it will be recommended to equip an axe on the main hand. If additional crit hit chance is not required, a spear can be equipped for 10% increased attack speed.
Once we have enough crit chance, and Fury regen, the build should work. Try to test it out by placing some tornados and using Whirlwind. If everything is OK, there should be enough Fury to keep Whirlwind running endlessly. Also, do not forget to use Sprint frequently as it will be your main source of Fury.
