Increase Damage with Each Spirit Gen Ability Used! Monk Combination Strike

Monk Combination StrikeMonk Combination Strike is a passive skill that unlocks at level 50.

Combination Strike increases the Monk’s damage by 8% for 3 seconds with each Spirit generating ability used.

This is good for offensive Monks who frequently use Spirit generator skills. This is also a good passive for farming and leveling late game because the increased damage output will enable the monk to kill enemies faster.

Complementary Skills:

The best skills to pair with Combination Strike are the ones that can enhance the amount of damage the Diablo 3 Monk dishes out.

Way of the Hundred Fists - This is a Primary skill wherein the monk strikes their enemies for 140% of their weapon damage. This is the Monk’s most powerful Spirit generating ability and is the best skill to pair with Combination Strike in terms of damage output.

Deadly ReachForesight - Another Spirit generating Primary skill, it allows the monk to hit enemies a short distance away 110% of their weapon damage.

Though not as powerful as Way of the Hundred Fists, this skill is still useful for monks who prefer a bit of distance between themselves and their enemies.

Mantra of Conviction - This Mantra causes all the enemies within 20 yards of the monk to take an additional 12% damage for three minutes. This effect is increased to an additional 24% damage for three seconds after the monk activates this Mantra.

This is the only Mantra that directly affects the damage taken by the Monk’s enemies. Using this Mantra with Combination Strike will greatly increase the damage caused by the monk’s Spirit generating skills.
