Real-world cash in Diablo 3
However, Blizzard says that gamers who earn real-world cash in Diablo 3 would be able to withdraw it only in some regions where the game is released.
A fee would also apply to the online transactions for withdrawal of real-world cash earned in the game. Another option would be that players can use the money to buy items in the Auction House.
Gamers can use credit cards and PayPal for buying items even if they run out of in-game gold. But a standard fee would be applied to all purchases from the Auction House whether the payment is in in-game gold or real-world cash.

Gamers must also note that there is a limit on the amount of cash players can keep in their account at a time. Blizzard would also be able to access the account and withdraw the money according to local legal rules applicable if an account is not used for more than three years.
Some gamers have raised apprehensions that this dual-money system would encourage gambling and hackers would try to make money off amateurs.
However, other gamers have insisted that the dual-money system is going to make the Diablo games more exciting than ever before. Blizzard has taken care of stringent security checks for all monetary transactions so gamers can play with a free mind.
