Running 4 Witch Doctors at the same time. Multibox Farming Worth the loot?
In a recently uploaded video, a player demonstrates how to farm Inferno difficulty using four Witch Doctor accounts. The idea is that each of the Witch Doctors stack their totems, giving the main account increased firepower to quickly burn the mobs down. The player ends up gaining up to 12 rare items from every champion pack they kill, as well as a good number of item level 61 to 63 items.

In a more recently uploaded video, the same player talks about a one hour sample of him multibox farming in Diablo 3. He starts by explaining his typical farming route, which goes through the Cemetery to the three Crypts, then back to The Weeping Hollow where there are normally up to three champion packs waiting for him. He then goes to The Festering Woods where there are up to five champion packs, then to Leoric’s Manor and the Highlands, which has up to four champion packs, then finally the Halls of Agony.
In this run he obtained 44 item level 61′s, 26 item level 62′s, and six item level 63′s, noting that players can get more or less items in a run.
His magic find gear is not the best and he is not planning to upgrade it soon, since Blizzard has already spoken about changing its mechanics. His main Witch Doctor does not have gear optimized for magic find, though the other three each have an item called Manajura’s Ritual Cutter which gives 35% magic find and can currently be bought from the real money auction house for up to $4. It does not have a good DPS, but its magic find stat is the highest one can find for the main hand.
The benefit of using four Witch Doctors to farm is the Big Bad Voodoo skill, which when stacked four times will enable the player to burn down any type of champion pack despite having a more magic find optimized gear.
