Witch Doctor Vision Quest Helps with Mana Regen when you need it the Most!
The Witch Doctor Vision Quest is a passive ability but has dependencies in the spell casting three. As anticipated, there are no runes or synergies associated with it.
The Witch Doctor Vision Quest skill is made available to all characters of level 40. During the beta testing the skill was unlockable at level at level 25 but was moved up to 40.
Getting back to these passive abilities attributes, Vision Quest enhances mana regeneration in certain situations. Basically if the Witch Doctor has 4 or more skills on cooldown, his mana regeneration rate increases by 300%.

The particular number of skills that are required to be on cooldown to trigger the mana replenishment boost is more than convenient. All builds have six active skills. Having four of them on cooldown is a common situation.
This can happen both in PVP and PVE. Still, the mana regeneration bonus seems to be more efficient when used for PVE combat situations, especially during sustained encounters such as the ones with bosses when more resources are required than during simple leveling gameplay.
PVP situations can also benefit from this skill. However it has one dependency: the opponent’s play skill. PVP matches against elite players can take a couple of minutes until one of the characters dies.
During this time mana can burn down extremely fast. Having a mana regeneration skill might prove to be a game changer. However, when encountering novice PVP players, the matches will be too short for mana to burn completely. Simply put, the utility of Vision Quest in PVP combat is a matter of luck.
